1. Awana Starts Friday, September 7th

Sign your children up for Awana, which returns Friday 9/7. You can now pay your Awana dues online using Tithe.ly - just select Awana from the drop-down menu where it asks where you would like your funds to go, and put your child(ren)'s name(s) in the memo/notes field.

2. Women's Bible Study September Schedule

  • 9/3 (Labor Day) - No Study
  • 9/10 - Movie Night ("The Book of Acts"
  • 9/17 - Ladies' Night Restaurant Outing
  • 9/24 - No Study

3. Home Groups

Home groups are starting soon. Sign up for a group at the book table after service on Sunday. We are still looking for people to host Thursday night groups.

Dear members and friends of Valley Park, We have worked through I Corinthians 12 the last month and noted that there are three primary ministries of the Holy Spirit: Helping us understand who Jesus is so that we can embrace Him as Lord of our lives. Immersing us (symbolized by baptism) into the Body of Christ so that we are members of the family of God with Jesus as the head. Valley Park Ministries: Get Involved!

Food Pantry

Members of Valley Park Church and other Christian volunteers distribute food to the community every Wednesday.

Volunteers are always needed to sort food at 2:00 pm and distribute food at 4:00 pm.

Missions

Valley Park Church is actively involved in Missions with service locally and abroad.

In the past five years, teams from Valley Park have served in Nicaragua, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Awana

Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. Awana runs during the school year and volunteers are always needed so Valley Park can minister to more children.
